“Are we recoooooooooooooooooording???” This is the first line we hear in Blackout Crew’s new single Dialed. While their thick Northern accents mightn’t be everyone’s cup of tea, these working class boys showed they had some real pulling power with last years massive bassline hit B-B-Bounce. Obviously sticking to the formula that made them successful, Dialed is another bassline heavy thumping track.

Sharing similar lyrics and themes to Laurent Wolf’s recent dance hit No Stress, Dialed opens up with blaring ringtones and random shoutings before the quintet’s brash rapping jumps over a thumping beat. Better than previous single Put A Donk On It, this tune isn’t really going to have much of an effect unless your a boy racer, avid clubber or chavvy teenager who likes to dial a lot on your phone. Haha, see what I did there!

Haha some office this is? The video opens with the various Blackout Crew members heads floating around a mobile phone which is also floating around in mid-air before breaking into typical dance style video with lots of sexy yet cheap looking girls dancing round the cluttered office as the various Blackout members rap at the camera while getting a bit touchy-feely with the ladies at the same time. The office does look like a fun place to work but this video loses lots of brownie points for it’s lack of originality.
