Big Brother 12: Looks like Andrew Gordon's going on Thursday! But are he and Brendon plotting something?
During the Power of Veto ceremony yesterday, it was widely expected that Brendon wouldn’t use his PoV this week to save either Andrew or Kathy, and he didn’t.
However, Andrew may well have sealed his fate by having a little tantrum during his speech at the ceremony.
He was of course supposed to be offering good reasons why he should be kept in the house, but instead, having asked Brendon to use the PoV to save him – and being told “No” apparently – Andrew launched into a scathing attack on Rachel and Brendon.
He criticised the couple for their ‘showmance’ and scheming, and told Brendon that if he stayed, he’d be “gunning” for both him and Rachel.
It was an outburst that stunned everyone, and since then, the majority of houseguests have decided that they’re going to vote him out on Thursday.
Last night, Ragan, Lane and Matt all agreed that they’re voting Andrew out, with Ragan saying, "How does it make sense that you say to a strong player at that meeting, ‘I am coming to get you,’ in the mood that they’re in?”
Lane agreed that Andrew had “shot himself in the foot” and added, "That whole meeting ruined it for him, and that’s the saddest thing."
Meanwhile, Rachel – who was furious at Andrew’s outburst – was talking to Kathy. She said, "Obviously Andrew knows he doesn't have my vote after today."
To which Kathy replied, "Thank you for sticking by me, I appreciate it a lot."
However, there were some rumblings that Andrew and Brendon are plotting together, a subject which Rachel raised with Brendon later as she became more convinced that the rumour is true.
She said, "I will never leave anything in your hands again. I hope you and Andrew know what you’re doing because you are playing with fire, and I’m fire!"
Annoyed, Brendon replied, "Don't try and threaten me, I don't need you to threaten me."
Rachel testily replied, "I didn't threaten you” before storming off to be alone in the hammock.
So are Brendon and Andrew working together? I don’t see it myself. I think Brendon may possibly be stringing Andrew along, just in case he does stay, but I’m pretty sure it’ll be an almost unanimous vote to say bye bye to Andrew this week.
