Chris Evans has colonoscopy to rule out bowel cancer
Chris Evans has revealed that he was admitted to hosiptal yesterdauy for a colonoscopy.
The Radio 2 DJ and One Show host had been experiencing problems and because his dad died when he was just 13 of bowel cancer, he was vigilant and underwent a "procedure" to get rid of the "future little problems" the growths could have caused. After his medical treatment, Evans urged fans to be vigilant and seek treatment, if they are at all concerned about anything of this nature. Writing on his BBC blog, he revealed: "So I came in, was taken down and went under. As far as the procedure went, it was lights, camera, action and on we go with the show. "A couple of pesky potential future little problems were discovered and swiftly removed, but other than that I'm afraid you're stuck with me for a few years longer at least. "And please, seriously if you or anyone you know may have any worries down below, get them checked out as soon as possible, because this type of enemy is one hundred percent beatable - providing you don't give it chance to fire the first shot." He later wrote on twitter: "Celebrating book position and removal of nasty's earlier on today during colonoscopy. All clear here - minor celebration tonight me thinks. (sic)"
