First Look: Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries promos

The CW is promoting its fall season hard, and beginning with last week’s Comic Con, their intention is to feed us fans little bits of our favourite shows ahead of their new season premieres.

And to that end, they’ve released trailer promos for both The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural. The Vampire Diaries trailer tends to focus on Katherine and her attempts to stir things up in season two.

And you’ll note in the trailer below that Stefan tells her how she resembles Elena. Apparently the resemblance will be fully explained when the new season begins.

MTV quotes the show’s executive producer Kevin Williamson as saying, "We 100 percent go there.

“It's not an easy answer, it's something I think Elena's going to have to uncover, and I think the answers aren't exactly what she wants to hear.

“But 100 percent, she is going to figure out the doppelganger aspect."

With Supernatural, it seems that in the upcoming season, “Sam will be more like Dean and Dean will be more like Sam...

“They basically switch personalities” said one of the show’s creators at Comic Con.

Supernatural is back on September 24th and The Vampire Diaries on September 9th. So here are the trailers…
