SONG REVIEW: Sadly, it looks like he's about to return to his old self with Please Don't Stop The Rain. Despite a promising and crashing drum riff at the start of the song, it quickly descends into a sleep inducing and bland rock plodder that lacks any of the epic surging sound that Broken Strings had. Despite expensive production and powerful vocals, this song will send everyone else comatose but no doubt, fans will lap it up! Oh and there are some lovely wildlife shots of wolves, not exactly animals you are likely to find on a beach in Blackpool! But who are we to argue with James' visually astounding little World. The video does have a rather epic quality with lots of stunning visual, weather effects but sadly the style of the video doesn't go along with the song.
Well, James Morrisson must be feeling awful smug about himself after scoring his biggest hit ever with Broken Strings, a collaboration featuring Canadian singer Nelly Furtado. There's no doubting that housewife's favourite Morrisson has a great voice, clear yet husky at the same time. However, his bland soft rock never really did much for anyone under the age of 35 and female until the December release of Broken Strings which saw him spend weeks floating around the Top 10.

VIDEO REVIEW:
The video is quite a stunning affair which shows Morrisson walking along a beach in twilight before sparks fall from the air. Yeah, sparks?! Or maybe they're giant lightbulbs. Basically, if you have ever saw Rihanna's Umbrella and seen what was falling from the studio ceiling as she shook those hips about then you'll know what I'm talking about! Hmmm them hips...ahem...sorry, went of the point there...!
