Johnny Depp to play Ozzy Osbourne in movie biopic?

Ozzy Osbourne has revealed he is in talks about releasing a movie based on his life story and The Prince Of Darkness has hand picked Johnny Depp as the actor he'd most like to play him.

Speaking to the Daily Contributor, Ozzy said: “I’ve thought about Johnny Depp,”

“He’s one of the few actors who knows about rock ‘n’ roll who does a really good English accent.”

The biopic will be similar to recent musical biographies, such as Ray and Walk the Line.

Many people will be surprised by Ozzy's choice of Johnny Depp, however we already know he can sing (check out the crybaby clip above) and he is definitely one of the most versatile actors around. We hope this is an offer he says yes to, as if he took on the role, it is a movie that we would certainly want to watch.
