Mary J. Blige, Travis Barker, Randy Jackson, Orianthi and Steve Vai re-record 'Stairway To Heaven'

Mary J. Blige has put together a 'rock supergroup' to help her re-record the Led Zeppelin classic 'Stairway To Heaven.'

Joining Mary will be Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, American idol judge Randy Jackson, former guitarist for Michael Jackson Orianthi and Frank Zappa guitar God Steve Vai.

"What people don't know about me is I've been a rock-and-roll fan for years," Blige told the Los Angeles Times on Tuesday night. "I loved soft rock as a child. I'm full of this stuff, naturally."

She added to Spinner.com, "I think this song is not hard at all because it's based on pure emotion... and once you get lost in the rock 'n' roll moment of it, all you can do is scream to the top of your lungs or go as low as you need to go... It's a spirit thing."

The track be of the bonus tracks on the re-release of her latest album, "Stronger With Each Tear".

On a possible duet with Zeppelin's Robert Plant, Blige laughed:

"I wouldn't mind, if he doesn't mind. 'Whole Lotta Love' is crazy!"
