Stephen Gately reincarnated as a butterfly?

Stephen Gately's former manager has admitted that he thinks the Boyzone singer came back to visit him as a butterfly.

The singer died last October and a tribute to him airs on ITV1 tonight. Mark Plunkett told The Daily Star that not long after he heard the news, Stephen made his presence felt in the form of a black butterfly.

He revealed: “My wife had been followed from room to room by a black butterfly.

“As she told me about it I turned around and there was a black butterfly on the wall of my hotel room.

“Everyone I told is convinced it was Stephen’s spirit stopping by.”

Stephen's Boyzone bandmates have since insisted that the set of his ITV tribute show was decorated with insects. That's a little strange if you ask us!
