X factor: John and Edward Grimes sing 'Oops I Did It Again'

It says a lot when the worst singers of the night weren’t the worst act. The more I see John and Edward Grimes, the more I am sure that they will survive for at least another few weeks on the X Factor.

I am not saying I want them to, or that I would vote for them, but they are amusing and after all the 'scandals' people do crave a little bit of fun.

Tonight they took on a Britney Spears song and I wouldn't say that they mastered it but neither did they murder it. Dare I say it? I think J&E may have actually improved.

Most cringe worthy thing about the performance? The Titanic moment for sure. However the pvc red jackets come a very close second. These guys can’t sing, and if they were any other act than Louis’, he’d say they have the cringe factor.

Judges Comments:

Cheryl- I have to say when it comes to Saturday night the act I’m most looking forward is you two, you’re thoroughly entertaining, I hope you stay longer, if not just to annoy Simon.

Simon – What the bloody hell was that, the worst live performance I’ve ever sat through in all these years of doing these shows, in the same way when I first watched The Exorcist, I didn’t like it, but wanted to watch it again, to be fair though, I do actually like you as people, you’re on another planet but I sort of enjoyed it.

Dannii – It’s a big week for you, Louis is not here for you, vocally it’s not right but its ok, the double divas from Dublin, the good news is – it’s entertaining, fun.
