X Factor: Stacey Solomon 'At Last'

Ok, so Stacey was pretty amazing tonight wasn't she? The layered prom dress was much prettier than last week's casual look and though her song was pretty unknown, her vocals were really quite strong.

I was worried when Whitney Houston seemed so underwhelmed in the VT, but Stacey really seemed to 'get' the song and gave it some of the welly that the other contestants lacked.

Simon said that Stacey is far out of her comfort zone, he added that the start didn't work, the dress looked wrong and he thought she looked uncomfortable throughout. I would respectfully have to disagree.

Judges Comments

Dannii – Stacey it was a beautiful performance and you smashed it at the end, you’ve just turned 20, you’ve gone from singing in your bedroom to performing on stage and its what’s uncomfortable about your performance that makes it work.

Simon – This is a positive and negative, you are so out of your comfort zone, it’s unbelievable, you’ve been plonked in a dress and you’re singing a song you didn’t know, the last 20 secs you got it together, my advice to you is do your own thing…….I’d also like to thank Clive/Whitney and Louis we miss you.

Cheryl – Tonight you look like a little pop star, it’s hard to believe you never knew the song before, you were great.
