X Factor Week One: Kandy Rain attacked over outfits

Ohhhh bitchfest! Kandy Rain had barely sang their final note when Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole went off on a rant about their costumes.

The girls were barely dressed and Coco particularly had all her assets on display. Dannii reminded them that they are trying to shed their lap dancer image, they certainly didn't further their cause tonight.

Vocally the girls weren't bad. They started off a bit wobbly and hit a few bum notes but after the first verse it all came together. The harmonies got stronger and they grew in confidence. If they can get past the whole bitchy girl thing they might last another few weeks on the show.

Judges Comments

Dannii – Reign it in. The stories came out that you used to be pole dancers and all of that and you want us to listen to you as singers but…..

Cheryl - I totally agree. If I was your mentor I would have bought you out all demure. You keep saying you want to keep the past behind you but you come out all dressed a bit proactively and that’s the image you give off.

Simon – First of all, as far as I am concerned the pole dancing is a great thing. Good for you. Nothing wrong with it; earning a living. (to Dannii and Cheryl) You two have performed in the past practically half naked

Cheryl - This is something you take to a video once you are an established act but if you come on a show trying to prove your something else, you do come out as you are…I bet you wouldn’t give them a record deal Simon?

Simon – I would give them a shot Cheryl – I bet you would Simon – There are some really boring groups on the show. You’re fun; you’re trying to make it in the business. Good luck to you

Louis – You look fantastic, all the guys at home are going to like you. The girls want but historically girls don’t like girls and girl groups don’t do well. And Simon, I agree with you totally agree with you for once.
