Dancing with the Stars Acousitc and Double Scores Night

Alright…Some of you may notice that I’ve scrapped the whole thing I had posted before, those of you who hadn’t realized it, don’t worry about it!  Quick explanation…I was forced to watch the Minnesota’s pathetic attempt at a football game last night because they are the local team.  So, they did not show DWTS locally until 1am.  I thought long and hard about staying up, but have training this week where my boss will be with me, figured I couldn’t skip it or sleep through it.  I originally posted a blog from some random person I had found, but I have a friend who wrote for it too, so I figured I would use his.  That way I know I can reproduce it, and it gives a male perspective.  So, here it is!

Disclaimer, I am not responsible for the thoughts and views posted below…unless of course you like them!

It’s the first ever acoustic week and they changed the stage to a circle to make it more intimate…which makes sense? When I think of intimacy I think of circles.

First is Kurt Warner dancing the rumba, he asked his wife’s permission to do the sensual rumba…get back to football Kurt your losing your manliness. Kurt had his hips in motion, whenever he had a chance he was swinging them around whenever he could. He did look kind of awkward but pretty good. First they give the technical scores Carrie Ann 5 Len 5 Bruno 5, than the performance scores Carrie Ann 7 Len 6 Bruno 6. For a 34/60

Up next is Brandy doing the rumba, I expect big things..that’s all I can say. They might as well been making out on stage the way they were dancing, Brandy just about ripped his clothes off at the end ..they were getting pretty into it. Of course the judges loved it, especially Bruno which isn’t a surprise. Technical scores Carrie Ann 7 Len 8 Bruno 7. Than the performance scores Carrie Ann 9 Len 8 Bruno 9. For a 48/60

Rick Fox is next doing the Argentine Tango, there are a lot of lifts in this dance and Rick is concerned he might drop her, I kinda want to see that happen..spice up the show a bit. Good thing Rick is tall or else I think she might of actually fell but you could tell he was concerned with falling off the stage. He does have the right moustache for the dance though. Technical score Carrie Ann 6 Len 7 Bruno 6. Performance scores Carrie Ann 6 Len 7 Bruno 7. For a 39/60

Kyle Massey is dancing the rumba, there is something about a 19 yr old kid doing a sensual dance to Nothin’ on you by b.o.b that makes it really weird. He didn’t do half bad but there is still that weird feeling to it. He focused too much on footwork and apparently looked like doing karate by the judges motions. Technical score Carrie Ann 6 Len 6 Bruno 6. Performance scores Carrie Ann 8 Len 7 Bruno 7. For a total of 40/60

Now its da Situation’s turn with the Argentine Tango, he’s wearing his low cut shirt to show off his abs which automatically impregnates all the women in the building. Starts off with a 360 flip and it was actually kinda amazing but that seemed to be all he did..throwing her around on the air, but hey he will get all the womens votes. Judges didn’t like it but I saw that coming but they saw improvement. Technical scores Carrie Ann 4 Len 4 Bruno 4. Performance scores Carrie Ann 6 Len 5 Bruno 5. The Situation called it a situation…priceless.

Next is Florence Hendersen doing the rumba, Florence says she has no problem being sexy but I have a problem with her being sexy. Especially if she needs help finding out what is appropriate and what’s not. It was pretty uncomfortable watching it and most of the people were in shock but a lot of cheers since its Florence. Technical scores Carrie Ann 6 Len 6 Bruno 6. Performance scores Carrie Ann 6 Len 7 Bruno 6. For a total of 35/60..crowd wasn’t too happy, apparently they weren’t as uncomfortable as everyone else.

Jennifer Grey is up doing the Argentine Tango, she apparently can play the piano since she started out doing that. She did pretty amazing but I guess that’s too be expected from her and the all the judges loved it. Apparently all her injuries she was complaining about didn’t have an effect on her dancing. Technical scores Carrie Ann 9 Len 9 Bruno 9. Performance scores Carrie Ann 10 Len 9 Bruno 10. For a total of 56/60

Now is Bristol Palin doing the rumba, Bristol annoys the crap outta me. An 18 year old mom trying to be sensual to a remix of Rhianna’s umbrella just doesn’t seem right. She ripped off his shirt halfway through but I suppose she has experiences doing that…she didn’t do very good. They also need to stop showing Sara Palin..one Palin on tv is enough. Technical scores Carrie Ann 6 Len 6 Bruno 6. Performance scores Carrie Ann 4 Len 5 Bruno 5. For a 32/60

Last is Audrina Patridge doing the Argentine Tango, don’t know who this is but she’s hot so im looking forward to it. I guess shes a pretty good dancer but I couldn’t tell I was distracted. The judges liked it but pointed out every little thing she did wrong. Technical scores Carrie Ann 8 Len 8 Bruno 8. Performance scores Carrie Ann 8 Len 7 Bruno 7. For a total of 46/60
