The Unreality Shout page explained
For those of you who are new to Unreality Shout, I thought I'd post this to explain how to navigate the site - I've numbered the important parts ot the screen above, and here's the explanation for each section:
- The site header - mostly decorative, but obviously you click on it to return to the homepage!
- The sections - Unreality Shout is divided into a few sections - blogs, forums, groups and wiki. If you want to read blog entries, click Blogs. To browse our groups or start a group of your own, click on Groups. You get the idea.
- Topics and Recent Posts - this allows you to browse blog posts on Shout according to topic. We've got books, music, movies - but at the end of the bar, you can browse Unreality Shout's most recently updated posts and see our most popular posts.
- Breadcrumb trail - This shows you what part of the site you're on at any time, giving you a chance to backtrack and browse other parts of the site.
- The content - This is an example of a forum posting - note the View/Edit buttons underneath the title - these only appear for your own posts to allow you to make edits to them.
