Past X Factor Auditions

Heyy Guys, its Scott here =)

just starting a post to hear about past x factor auditions and to hear the experiences of different people in different cities etc.

I Have auditioned twice in cardiff, series 4 and 5. Got through to the judges in 2007, i was 14. I had 2 yes and 2 no, so i didnt get through. Then in 2008 i got through the 3 preliminaries and then got the 'No letter' after waiting 8 weeks haha. This year, 2009, i am auditioning again and im looking forward to seeing the changes, if any to the process =)

I suppose if anyones got any worries or if like last year people are waiting for a result eg. phonecall/letter, this post would be good for people to ask questions =)

hey scott, congrats on being the first to post on this group.

its great to hear you'v not given up after your rejection with the judges, the 2 yes's and 2 no's thing is a real bumer isnt it? we had the same thing in 2008, danni and cherryl liked us, louis hated us and simon said he wouldnt know what to do with us.(shame, i know exactly what i'd like him to do with me) perhaps a fifth judge would solve this predicament or possibly reverting back to the original format of just 3. i know alot of auditioness really dont like the 2 and 2 result because its so indecisive and unfair, you can accept a unanimous decision, cant you, but when it is torn like that you almost feel robbed.

thats right it is a bit of a bummer. but what i dont get it...for example on american idol now, if you had 2 yes and 2 no, and one of those yes were form simon, youd go through...but i had a yes from sharon and simon, and i got told no, so it must have been changed. shame haha.

but yes it is very indecisive. and annoying hahaha. what is it that you did for the x factor? were you a group? as you said we lol?  well a few options of my 2009 songs are on my music myspace if you want to take a look =)

I'm auditioning for the xfactor for the first time in Scotland I was just wondering what is the kind of format to the auditions before you get infront of Simon Cowell etc. Are there just two or is there three? As I some people have said two and others have said three? Also are they all just about your voice? or is only some about your voice and others about the looks?
