Led Zeppelin I (Album cover)

The cover art for Led Zeppelin's debut album, depicting the Hindenburg disaster. It's said that the image hints at the in-joke that lead to the band's name - that a supergroup featuring Page, Jeff Beck and Keith Moon and John Entwhistle from The Who "would go down like a Lead Zeppelin".

The album was released on 12 January 1969.
