Led Zeppelin III (Album cover)

Led Zeppelin III (Album cover)

After releasing their first two albums in quick succession, Led Zeppelin took some time out in Bron-Yr-Aur (a region in Wales) to relax and write some new songs. The result was a more laid-back, acoustic album.

The cover artwork for Led Zeppelin III was designed by Zacron, a multimedia student whom Page had known in the early 1960's. The cover had a number of cut-out areas and a revovling disc inside which revealed different things through the cut-out windows as the inner disc rotated.
