Led Zeppelin - Presence (Album cover)
Another Hipgnosis design for Led Zeppelin's seventh studio album, Presence. The cover features several pictures of people with a black obelisk object at the focal point of each picture. The object is supposed to symbolize the power and presence of the band, hence the album's title.
The album is notable for Jimmy Page's dominant influence on both the recording and the concept. Robert Plant was in recuperation following a serious car accident, and felt his performance on the record was less than memorable.
