Merlin series three begins Saturday 11th September!

Let’s be honest, the second series of [[Merlin (TV Series)|Merlin]] was a bit of a washout from what I remember. All that intrigue and Merlin hiding his powers and Morgana turning evil, but not quite committing to her new evil path. And Arthur intermittently being both valiant and spoilt.

But for some reason the series as a whole makes me feel nostalgic for its return – unlike the tedious Robin Hood.

You’ll be pleased to learn that Colin Morgan returns for a third series of Merlin, aided by the usual suspects – Arthur (Bradley James), Gaius (Richard Wilson), Uther (Anthony Head) with Angel Coulby as Guinevere and Katie McGrath as Morgana. The show starts at 7:25pm on Saturday 11th September, so be sure to tune in!

In the meantime, check out the latest trailer for the third series. I think you’ll agree, it’s going to be war from the very beginning. I’m soooo looking forward to it!

I don’t know what it is but I really enjoyed Merlin series one and two and I am looking forward to series three.

I suppose the reason why I have found it appealing is because it captures my childhood spirit for adventure, mystery and suspense.

Merlin, Dr Who, Startrek and many more programmes which I adore could be described as kids tv

This was a good way to relax on a Saturday evening watching Merlin instead of the X factor. You can always catch up with the X factor on a Sunday when you fall asleep after Sunday lunch, because nobody was good enough to keep you awake.

Hope the BBC recognise the long term potential of a programme like Merlin.
