EastEnders: Is Danielle Dead?

Danielle can't be dead!!!! Are the Eastenders writers mad? This storyline has been painfully tedious up until tonight and just when it looks like it might get interesting they bloomin killl her off. Come on!

I am outstanded and outraged, after watching tonights episode of easrtenders, how after all these months of this danielle and ronnie storyline the eastenders writers have ended it like this, after watching for months and watching this story grow for the enders writers to go and kill danielle off is a f***ing disgrace, the british public have grown to like the character and really wanted a happy ending, and the numptys at enders decide yet again in there infernent wisdom to end a good storyline with a proper s**t ending. Janine has got her way out AGAIN, and they have gone back to old story lines, first it was pat killing someone in her car now janine BORING, how about for once letting something good happen, i am sorry but forgive me if i am wrong but the east end of london aint this b*****y grim, its aint been this grim since the buponic plague and it wouldnt surprise me now if the writers of enders watched this and thought'hold on a minute we aint used that, lets give everybody the plague'.
All i can say is boooooooo eastenders, get up to date with stuff people want to watch, we have enough of a crap time with the way the country is in at the moment, for them IDIOTS to go and do this, jesus christ eastenders wake up and get out of the victorian age

Too right, we won't be spared a long and gruesome death, complete with earnest deathbed reconciliation between mother and daughter! Given how much this storyline has dragged on until now, they surely couldn't resist a month in a hospital bed?

I think Danielle does die as i read in a magazine that Ronnie goes to the airport to leave and Jack comes to get her and anounce his love for her...why would Ronnie leave if her daughter was in a coma / hospitalised etc? ?

i agree with you guys - I cant believe the writters would be dumb enough to kill Danielle off as they have made everyone watch the story line for so many months with nothing happening.

If they think they will impress viewers by now dragging out Ronnie howling for her daughter who is now dead - I love Eastenders but I dont think i could bear months of a story line of the funeral and her getting even more depressed.

I must say the acting from Ronnie and Danielle tonight was the best i had seen for a long time on Eastenders - They did it very well!!

PLEASE BRING DANIELLE BACK - Eastenders was just getting juicy again!!

I know - I only just thought about it and remembered I read a TV mag about Ronnie leaving and being at the airport - I could be totally wrong! but putting 2 and 2 together, why else would she be going..?

I hope like you she isnt dead - I never get involved in writting my views on it - but this had really peed me off

oh come on this is rubbish i have been waiting for so long for danielles secret to come out as we all have and then they kill her off we havnt been waiting all this time for nothing she cant be dead......can she?

i have been waiting so long for this secret of danielles to come out as we all have so surely they are not goin to kill her off that would be stupid. I would like to see danielle alive so she and ronnie can build there relationship together at last.

Eastenders will be permanantly deleted from my recording schedule if you kill off danielle, if you haven't then genius, you have got the country talking about it and bloomin livid, if you have then stupid move!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please don't do that to us, it's been like pulling teeth out for ages, just as i was beginning to get back into eastenders and thought there had been some amusing parts and hoped of a happy ending!!! PS We like happy endings you know.

I can't believe this is how its ended after all of that crap, half way through watching it i predicted the ending n i was spot on, im sure the writers could have thought of sumthing better, its getting so predictable nw days arrrrrrrrrrrrrh!!!!!!!!

Iwas so outraged with tonights ending. Not beause I was expecting some 'ideal happy ending', but because I demanded one after watching months of this story line. No wonder corrieis doing better.

I agree, it would be so cruel for Danielle to be kill off. They should think of those the british people who have also lost a parent and been reunited, how they get to know each other , can't they have a bit of a life!! it would be good tv. 

I am disgusted at the ending of tonights hour long episode and unless the eastender writers pull up there socks and bring danielle back from the dead I wont be watching another episode! months and months tearing the a**e out of it for it to end like that!!

if this is the end of danielle ,it will be the last eastenders i ever watch .

What rubbish!!! After what seems like years, Ronnie finds out and within 5 mins the writers kill of the story in what seemed like a comedy sketch show, "My baby" then step out into the front of a car!!!! Poor very poor

I don't watch eastenders but this storyline has had my attention for a few weeks. If they kill off danielle I'll be livid and it will simply prove I was right not to bother watching!!!!!!!!!!!

Not a very good move by Eastenders if she is gone forever. I for one will not be tuning into Eastenders anymore if that is how it ends for Danielle! I am quite outraged by this, Surely they could have her in a coma whilst everyone is disgusted by Archie's behaviour and now know exactly what he is capable of! If this is truly the end then boo Eastenders and I am sure they will lose more than 1 viewer in disgust!

eastenders is the only soap i watch and it has had us all on a cliffhanger for the last couple of weeks just to hear danielle actually say them words to ronnie and then they go and kill her off ????? i well upset ... so im never watching it again ...

they must have filmed alternative continuities, maybe to see how the viewers react danielle possibly dying, then making a decision based on that.

I can't believe they have killed her OFF!!!!! All this wait to see Danielle & Ronnie Mother/daughter to be together and they go and do this.  I won't be watching eastenders if they have killed her off AGAIN!!!! I would like to see her alive and both leavong together at the airport for a new life. I think I could have done a better job in writing the stroyline for tonight. I am SO upset with the ending. It's terrible, all tis time of watching them apart and finally together they KILL HER OFF!!!!!

Dissapointed! how can they kill her off like that, ive been watching for weeks and then when she finally tells her mum , boof! shes dead!.  I know she was just a character, but im kindve depressed now.  I dont think i can stand Ronnie moaping around anymore, how depressing!

I totally agree with the comment above, I dont think we should watch Eastenders again, let their ratings fall and send the msg that the veiwing public are outraged after waiting such a long time for a happy ending! Considering that Archie F****d up Ronnies life from a young age and she has suffered ever since. Then for Ronnie to find out the truth and kill Danielle is just disappointing for every viewer who has watched for months!

What a complete let down!!

I totally agree with comments above, I think the viewers should refuse to tune into Eastenders if Danielle is dead forever. It might teach them that we dont like to watch a depressing programme 52 weeks of the year. Is it not bad enough that there is always something shockinlgy dreadfull happens at xmas. Xmas is meant to be a happy time. TV plays a big part in people's life! Real life can be depressing enough!

Everyone is in uproar!!! Enders need to sort this out... if she's dead then I'm never watching that programme again!! I'm sick of watching depressing story lines and for the amount of time they dragged it out for they should at least let it be a happy reunion! Bad TV tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow, tonight's episode has caused quite a stir.

appologies for possibly repeating some of/all of the above comments (I got bored half way down the list - way too many haha) but I definately don't think Danielle is dead if her acting performance has anything to do with it, anyway!  But surely they wouldn't do that to us, would they?  They must let Ronnie be happy, for once.  And did anyone notice the sleazy glint in Archie's eye on hearing about the accident?  Maybe he'll get away with it afterall... Nah, not in Soapland.

I have been watching Eastenders for probably at least a DECADE if not more! I've stuck with it since this new script writer has been boring me to death and dragged out this storyline well past it's elastic limit!

SO if this is the climax over a years build up I AM NEVER WATCHING EASTENDERS AGAIN!!! I urge and recommend everyone do the same.. a sudden DROP in viewers will hopefully result in a sudden DROP of the writer!!

However if she ain't dead it s'all good!

If they continue and Danielle really is dead then no more Eastenders in our family its banned for everyone. I urge people to complain directly to the BBC like we have done. If they want a reaction then lets give them hell cos they just sent everyone to bed tonight with the hump.

 Shouldnt the vic have a qualified first aider being as its a place of work now who's being out of touch with reality, Trading standards or Health and Safety at work act reps where are you.

Surely if you roll over a car it kinda breaks your fall its not as if she was thrown to the ground directly and that car didnt look like it was going to fast more like backwards.

Tomorrow could be the evening Eastenders gains millions or looses millions of viewers, now I wonder when corri is next........

The BBC has a responsibility to bring us entertainment, hope and values that could be helpful to others.  Having “opened the can of worms” that has touched many people in similar position, it will be very sad and negative if Danielle is ousted from the programme without giving your viewers the hope a reunion could mean.  To kill her off would only add to both parent and child a negative effect.  I hope that BBC is a far more responsible producer and will keep her in the programme offering positive feedback to your viewers. Any such event of killing her off would be both irresponsible and total lunacy and would not impact well with the general public as well as losing me as a permanent historically rooted viewer.  I do share this view with a lot of my friends.

I cant believe Danielle has been killed off. Thing is it's a Thursday night and normally they kill people off on a Friday to have us waiting a whole weekend to see the aftermath. Maybe this could be to have the country in uproar over dragging out such an intense storyline and for us all hoping they could reunite. I think and I hope that they have done this to be such a huge shock..but then Friday night the ambulance arrives to find Danielle is still alive..just. It would be great to see them build up their relationship together after this longhaul ride..not kill her off..just as the best bit could have started!!

Yeah I feel the same as you guys, Danielle can't really be dead surely? I am also not watching the show if thats the case, whats the point of the whole story to end it like that, crazy! after years of viewing I give up..
