Simon Cowell has today revealed that he will not be quitting the UK version of the X Factor this year despite recent reports that he will be focusing more on the US version of the show as the year pans out. Although it has been rumoured that he will have to sacrifice the auditions stage of the UK version.
Whilst speaking on the American chat show Extra, Cowell rubbished the rumours by suggesting that he is not intending to focus altogether on the Fox launch in America and will be still involved with the ITV1 show. Good job somebody is here to keep the show together because Britain’s Got Talent seems to have gone down hill since Simon left the judging panel and we don’t want a repeat performance with the X Factor.
The music mogul also told the chat host, “We’re in the process of building a rocket and it is literally going to fly us from Los Angeles to London in an hour,” he said. “It hasn’t been tested yet but that’s the idea.” Well he has the money, so who knows? Cheryl will obviously be accompanying him on the journey.
