Third couple to take the stage on Strictly Come Dancing tonight were Destiny’s Child singer Michelle Williams and her partner Brendan Cole. And as they say in their video beforehand, they’re the couple to watch. Much as I think Cole’s a total egomaniac drunk on self-love, he’s a fantastically expressive dancer.
These are a couple who look great together – unlike Anton Du Beke and Ann Widdecombe – and their cha cha cha is exciting and energetic to watch.
Bruno Tolioni: Talk about length of bone, those legs go on forever. You looked at times like you were dancing on stilts. You’ve got to control your legs and arms. Keep your center, go for it girl. Craig Revel-Horwood: Balance was off a long way throughout that. Very stiff of hip. Thank goodness you had that outfit on darling. Len Goodman: It was a fatal combination. Long legs, short skirt and bad technique. It was all a little bit unsteady. Alesha Dixon: I love you Michelle, full of life, character, you came out here and you performed it.
Scores: Craig – 5, Len – 6, Alesha – 7, Bruno – 6 Totals: 24
