Celebrity Fame Zeppelin - Big Brother with ADHD
Ever wondered what Big Brother would be like if it was shortened to two minutes instead of 90-something days? Produced by telly comedians Mitchell and Webb and animated by David Firth, this video fast forwards through an entire series worth of Big Brother - it's got everything, complicated voting rules, ghosts of goats and even a velociraptors (if only these existed on the real show...)
Check out Vikki Stone's spoof Joe McElderry single!
Comedienne Vikki Stone has released a YouTube video which mercilessly sends up this year's X Factor winner's single. She's completely rewritten the lyrics to suggest Joe McElderry will be having nightmares about somebody called Leon for the foreseeable future...and that his records might soon be found in bargain bins all over the country...
And she does a really good approximation of Joe's singing voice too! The chorus was begging to be rewritten as It's A Crime, wasn't it?
Pearl And The Beard - Will Smith Medley
How many Will Smith tunes can you fit into one medley? Well, nearly all of the hits, as colourful Brooklyn trio Pearl And The Beard prove in this video:
There's something unashamedly geeky about this group, and I love the outdoors performance in the video. A great bit of lighthearted entertainment for a Friday afternoon.
8 of the Funniest Twilight Spoof Videos on the Web
When you get something like Twilight - a vampire romance story that became a worldwide sensation both in its original novel form, and later as a movie - it's inevitable that people will publish the odd parody.
Following the brilliant Olivia Munn parody of the famous forest scene in Twilight, I decided to seek out some of the funniest spoof clips on the web. Let's begin with Munn's Edward getting himself slayed in the forest while two vampire hunters give Bella Swan a piece of their minds...
This next one rewrites the cafeteria scene with the Cullens, but gives Bella a chance to vent at Edward for blowing hot and cold on her.
I wanna date Felicia Day's avatar
Funniest video on the web right now is Felicia Day's Do You Wanna Date My Avatar? Taking the piss out of Internet-nerdery in the way that only a stunningly hot girl can, Felicia pouts and teases her way through the video dressed up as an MMO character. No, I don't actually know what MMO stands for. But it's geeky, trust me on that.
Check out some of the lyrics:
Grab your mouse and stroke the keys
Here in cyberspace there's no disease
The group are calling themselves The Guild, but I came across Felicia after watching the final episode of Dollhouse. Interestingly, the video is directed by Jed Whedon. Yes, the brother of Buffy and Dollhouse creator Joss Whedon.
A brilliant geek-out, and now I'm going to re-watch that final episode of Dollhouse, looking out for Miss Day. She certainly does look good in a wench outfit.
How to make Harry Potter tougher...
I've always considered Harry Potter as a bit of a wuss. With the glasses and always being bailed out by someone else or accidentally worming his way out a situation.
But what if we beefed Harry Potter up a little bit, perhaps got someone a bit tougher to play the role. Bruce Willis. It'd be worth it just for what would ultimately become the new Harry Potter catchphrase:
Yep, that's more like it. Watch out, Voldemort. This Potter isn't gonna take any more shit.
Anyone care to suggest a title for the movie? "Harry Potter and the..."
BBC announce new kids show: Balamordor

The BBC have exclusively announced through UnrealityShout.com that they are resurrecting the hit children's show, Balamory, introducing a new character, Sauron...the inventor.
Sauron will replace outgoing character, Archie The Inventor, and has rebuilt Archie's castle into a replica of his former home at Barad-Dur. Producers say that Sauron will show children how to craft deadly weapons from toilet rolls and empty yogurt pots.
Some original cast members are reportedly not happy about the new addition to the team though. Suzie Sweet, co-owner of the local shop, was most concerned when a gang of marauding orcs trashed her store during a raid. It is believed that PC Plum is mildly annoyed at rumours of romantic storylines between Sauron and Miss Hoolie.
New Series: Genius
I've never watched anything with Dave Gorman before and wasn't completely sure this show, moving from Radio 4, would change that. How wrong can you be? I was laughing out loud quite early on (just at the unfurling the email address - I'm easily pleased) and the addition of Catherine Tate as the 'expert', with her anecdote about cutting off an alcoholic ex-boyfriend's hair while he slept (and telling him in the morning that he'd come home like it! Genius indeed.)
