We just caught Mariah Carey's new video for her next single 'Angels Cry', taken from her 'Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel' album.

We quite liked the original version of this song, but the remix complete with Neyo doing his thing is even better

Mariah's husband Nick Cannon wrote on his official blog that "this video is going to be simplistically genius! No bells and whistles, just documenting history and brilliance."

Mariah Carey's I Wanna Know What Love Is, a cover of the 1984 Foreigner shmaltz classic, premiered online today. It is the second single to be taken from her 11th LP Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel. Sadly for Mariah, who seems to be having a hard time with the promotion of this album and the charting of her singles, the Hype Williams directed video is one hot mess! Because I agree with The Prophet Blog on practically everything they said, I thought I would quote their hillarious breakdown of the video.

On top of that, artists are now starting to use Twitter as a direct line to their fans. Acts as diverse as Mariah Carey and Muse have just announced their new album titles using the medium. Makes me wonder if the press aren't a little bit put off by Twitter's ability to get previously exclusive announcements like this.
