Cheryl Cole has managed to gravely offend Hindu leaders, after portraying Goddess Kali in her recent 'Parachute' video. You can watch it below.

The President of the Universal Society of Hinduism, Rajan Zed, blasted the X Factor judge saying:

"The goddess Kali is highly revered in Hinduism and she's meant to be worshiped in temples, and not to be duplicated in music videos for publicity stunts or thrown around loosely for dramatic effects. This should not be taken lightly. No faith, larger or smaller, should be ridiculed. The inappropriate use of Hinduism concepts and symbols is not OK.
We welcome entertainers who immerse themselves in Hinduism, but they should take it seriously and respectfully and not just for indecorous showing of Hindu symbols and concepts to advance their selfish agenda. Casual flirting sometimes results in pillaging serious spiritual doctrines and revered symbols and hurting the devotees."

Oasis star Liam Gallagher has confirmed that the band will continue without his brother Noel, albeit with a new name.

Noel left the group during their European tour in 2009, after a series of rows and altercations with his fellow band members.

Liam tells British radion station XFM, "No, it's not Oasis. That was a s**t name anyway. I'm glad to see the back of it. There's a name that we're digging at the moment, but we're going to get on with the music and see how it goes."

While he wouldn't reveal the new band name yet, Liam did promise fans that they won't have long to wait before they hit the stage again.

"We'll be on stage this year - without a doubt. We're halfway through the record - the demos, that is. We're in the studio this April to see if this producer works out. If he does, we'll crack on with the album through June and July."

The video for Pixie Lott's fourth single premiered on T4 today.

Though Pixie's last song 'Cry Me Out' almost flopped, we have higher hopes for 'Gravity'.

The video is a rather simple one and not ground breaking in any way, but we love the scene where Pixie goes all glam with a sleek bob and feathery dress.

Fresh from the I'm A Celebrity jungle, former Mis-teeq singer Sabrina Washington is getting ready to release her debut solo single.

‘OMG (Oh My Gosh)’ is out March 22nd, followed by her debut album 'Strip' ,due in the early summer months of 2010.

The song samples the Snap classic ‘Rhythm is a Dancer’ and though it doesn't break any boundaries, we think it's a catchy tune all the same.

To mark the release of Gorillaz latest album Plastic Beach, a video titled Plastic Beach Orchestral trailer has been exclusively revealed.

The video takes you on a journey through a tranquil paradise, floating around onto an imaginary island and plunging under the sea into an underground world.

We just caught Mariah Carey's new video for her next single 'Angels Cry', taken from her 'Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel' album.

We quite liked the original version of this song, but the remix complete with Neyo doing his thing is even better

Mariah's husband Nick Cannon wrote on his official blog that "this video is going to be simplistically genius! No bells and whistles, just documenting history and brilliance."

Cheryl Cole's has released the music video to her next single 'Parachute'

Rock band Paramore have released details of their upcoming North American tour, which will start off in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The tour will support Hayley Williams & Co's latest album 'Brand New Eyes' and will kick off this April.
