Oasis
Oasis will be back with new name
star Liam Gallagher has confirmed that the band will continue without his brother Noel, albeit with a new name.
Noel left the group during their European tour in 2009, after a series of rows and altercations with his fellow band members.
Liam tells British radion station XFM, "No, it's not Oasis. That was a s**t name anyway. I'm glad to see the back of it. There's a name that we're digging at the moment, but we're going to get on with the music and see how it goes."
While he wouldn't reveal the new band name yet, Liam did promise fans that they won't have long to wait before they hit the stage again.
"We'll be on stage this year - without a doubt. We're halfway through the record - the demos, that is. We're in the studio this April to see if this producer works out. If he does, we'll crack on with the album through June and July."
Oasis Falling Down Review
It seems everyone has gone a little bit British crazy. Oasis opens their latest single “Falling Down,” with a rendition of a very English fanfare. This is the cut through with a strange techno sound, similar to someone singing in their bathroom.
This is not one of the band’s best works. The vocals are buried beneath the music, making it impossible to hear. Throughout the song, you never really know what is being sung.
