First Look: Rihanna 'Rude Boy' VIDEO
Rihanna has finally released the official music video for her latest single 'Rude Boy.'
In creating the video, the Barbados born singer worked once more with Melina Matsoukas, who also directed RiRi's previous video 'Hard'.
“[The video] completely different from any other video I’ve shot before,” Rihanna told JustJared. “A lot of my videos are really dark and edgy and tough. ‘Rude Boy’ is more playing along the lines from my roots… We used a lot of color, but also the costumes were very Jamaican dance-hall queen type.”
Rihanna: 'People think I'm a snotty bitch!' (VIDEO)
Check out this video clip of singing pop superstar Rihanna, in which she reveals people often think she's a bitch.
Rihanna, who turns 22 this month admitted that she doesn't make an effort with people who she doesn't know well and this often leads to people assuming that she's 'snotty'.
Ri has had a good start to 2010, winning two Barbados Music Awards for "Song of the Year" with Umbrella and "Entertainer of the Decade". In addition, she, Jay-Z, and Kanye West won the "Best Rap Song" and "Best Rap/Sung Collaboration" awards for "Run This Town" at the Grammy Awards on January 31st.
Rihanna on the verge of a breakdown?
Pals of pop singer Rihanna are fearful that she is about to “drive herself into the ground”.
The Umbrella singer is said to be on the verge of a breakdown, as she spends an excessive amount of time drinking, partying and being tatooed.
“She’s going too far with it,” a source told Britain’s Now magazine. “She’s impulsive: she goes all out for something, but when it’s a tattoo, you can’t take it back.
“Every night’s the same. She goes clubbing, downs shots and manages to stay up until the early hours.
“It’s playing havoc with her sleep pattern, but she doesn’t seem to care. She seems to be on a mission to drive herself into the ground.”
Rihanna's 'Rated R' Review

Rihanna is back on the hot spot, but this time it’s for her music, and that’s very good news. Her fourth studio album is decidedly her most complete, mature and personal work, taking into consideration she is the co-writer of nine of the thirteen tracks. A renovated Rihanna is back to stay. Now it’s her time to shine.
The semi-instrumental one-and-a-half-minute intro ‘Madhouse’ prints the new Rihanna intentions from the very start. The whole thing is grotesquely terrifying! Especially the freaky spooky organ notes that follow Rihanna’s voice inviting us to “come on, come on, come on in”.
Rihanna: Russian Roulette music video
I don't have a lot of time to write a full blog on this music video but just like the song it was recorded for, this video is dark, violent, edgy and one of her best works yet. I've really warmed to this new Rihanan from the Rated R era, previously she was just a wooden throwaway pop star but in this video she actually shows some charisma and real vunerability...in a very high fashion way of course lol!
The wait is ova...Wait Your Turn video by Rihanna is here!
Rihanna has released the video for promotional single Wait Your Turn on 3 November, the first track to be taken from her upcoming fourth studio album Rated R. This was originally thought to be released alongside soon-to-be released single Russian Roulette as an official single, but no, it's just a promo. Hard featuring rent-a-rapper Young Jeezy will be the official second single.
We review Rihanna's new single Russian Roulette
I had to print the cover for Rihanna's latest single, Russian Roulette, in the biggest size the blog would take. Pretty sexy, eh? And is that a barbed wire bra she's wearing?
Anyway, enough about Rihanna's agressively airbrushed cover photo, let's talk about that single for a minute. Russian Roulette is Rihanna's return as a solo artist (discounting those cameos with Jay-Z and Kanye 'Ima gonna let you finish' West. And yes, it's her first solo single since that incident with Chris Brown.
So what's it like? Russian Roulette is very much a moody, brooding ballad. Written by Rihanna herself along with Ne-Yo, you'd be forgiven for thinking that this was a Ryan Tedder number. It's got that sparse beat, a little light instrumentation with all of the focus on the vocal performance. And it's perhaps the finest stab Rihanna's had at a ballad in ages.
Say what? Chris Brown hit Rihanna?

How did I miss the news about Chris Brown alledgedly hitting Rihanna? Apparently the couple argued at a pre-Grammy event, and ended up getting out of their car, where upon Rihanna was apparently severely beaten.
The details are incredibly fuzzy, and it looks like the media are jumping on this story, making up most of it as they go along. I've read several different accounts, and I don't know what to believe. All the facts seem to agree that Rihanna took quite a beating, as the unfortunately named Celebrity Smack Blog states:
Earlier reports of Rihanna suffering bite marks to an arm and multiple fingers were true, and the singer also suffered a bloody nose, cut lips and two rather large contusions on her forehead. It’s not known for sure if she suffered broken teeth as earlier reported.
