Sugababes: Amelle Berrabah dyes her hair blue
Sugababes singer Amelle Berrabah has been experimenting with her hair colour this week and gave her Twitter followers a sneak peek at her new blue locks.
Before revealing her new blue rinse, Amelle tweeted: "I'll put a pic up in a bout half hour of my new hair!!! Hope u all like it!!! Can't wait 2 show u all! It's defo different, xxxx
"I've had all my hair dyed navy blue with some lightened turquoise slices through it! It's a lot more vivid in real life. Thank you Percy and Reed!!!!!"
After posting the picture and receiving a plethora of positive comments about it Amelle added:
"Thanks everyone. Was a little worried just in case it didn't come out the way I wanted but I love it."
Original Sugababes To Reform?
<!-- google_ad_section_start -->
Original Sugababe members, Siobhan Donaghy, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan are said to be considering a reunion of the band.
The Sun reports that Buena called Donaghy and Buchanan and talked to them about bringing the old lineup back.
A friend of Donaghy told the newspaper: "She met up with Mutya for the first time in ages over the summer and they got on well.
"Now Mutya is convinced the original three could be huge again. She was on the phone all last weekend trying to convince the girls to reform. Siobhan's considering it."
A source close to Buchanan added: "Mutya is very keen to do this. Keisha has her solo career on the go - including recording with new star Jay Sean - but she feels more comfortable as part of a band.
"There were arguments in the past, but all three realise it was because they were young, headstrong and finding fame hard to cope with."
Keisha Buchanan fired from Sugababes?

It seems my favourite Sugababe, Keisha Buchanan has been booted out of the group. This - and her subsequent replacement by Eurovision 2009 entrant Jade Ewen - is the culmination of a couple of weeks of intense speculation about in-fighting within the long-suffering pop group.
It couldn't have come at a worse time for the group, whose seventh album is due for release in November. I've heard that Keisha's departure is going to involve Jade Ewen re-recording her vocals for the new album, so the remaining girls won't even have a minute to dry their crocodile tears for their departing member.
Why did Keisha leave?
Is Amelle Berrabah leaving Sugababes?
This report in the Daily Mail claims that Sugababes singer Amelle Berrabah is on the verge of quitting the band. She went missing last week, ignoring calls from band management and not showing up for publicity events.
Apparently, Keisha Buchanan has commented:
Every couple of months it will happen. At certain times there are people thinking they're bigger than the band.
This is presumably in relation to Amelle’s sudden gain in status following a hit single with Tinchy Strider. There’s a mess of claims and counter-claims and Twitter postings suggesting that Amelle is feeling bullied in the group and that there’s burgeoning jealousy about her working outside Sugababes.
In addition to Keisha’s comments above, she has also hinted at a rift in the band by saying:
The Top 10 Best Sugababes Songs
The Sugababes are one of the most enduring girl groups we’ve ever seen in the UK. They started their chart careers back in 2000 as glum-faced teens, but with a surprisingly fresh urban sound that was more interesting that the kind of pop Atomic Kitten were flogging at the time.
There’s always been a cloud of bitchiness hanging over the group and this has brought about two personnel changes leading to the departures of original members Siobhan Donaghy and Mutya Buena. However, the Sugababes have always managed to reinvent themselves with each new album.
These days, of course, they’re a very slick pop act. There’s no denying that. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at what we think are the best ever Sugababes songs.
1 - Ugly
Our favourite Sugababes song of all time, Ugly is a sweet pop song that talks about growing up and feeling unattractive, but gradually realising that inner beauty is important too. It’s a real nice message that their teenage fanbase could easily relate to. It’s the Sugababes’ answer to Christina Aguilera’s Beautiful.
Single Reviews Round-Up: 28 August 2009
A little bit later than expected, I'm here with the second round-up of singles being released this week. That's 28 August 2009 for Ireland and 31 August 2009 for the UK. So might as well start now...
Asher Roth featuring Keri Hilson: 'She Don't Wanna Man'
I do like Asher Roth. Sure his cheeky and often vulgar rapping isn't for everyone but at least he's a bit more inventive than your average rapper who sings about "shawties shaking their ass in the club all day while I throw money at them". Sadly enough for the guy, his previous two singles haven't really hit the mainstream radar. This might change now that he's collaborated with the gorgeous Keri Hilson to bring this clubby number. Thankfully, this tune has a more old school feel, something I really appreciate at the moment. I mean I'm really getting tired of Europop samples and R&B singers singing over booming house beats. Auto-Tune does manage to coat Hilson's vocals on the song alright but it doesn't spoil the song. This is a song that deserves some recognition. 4/5
