Virgin Radio have announced that they are to change their name to Absolute and bring back their policy of no song repeats between the hours of 9am to 5pm.

"We wanted a real word - not something made up like Consignia – and it just stuck," explained Absolute's director of programmes and operations Clive Dickens. In a post on the One Golden Square staff blog, he added:

George Lucas has insisted that his Star Wars movies cannot be placed in the Sci-Fi genre and says that science has no place in the world he created in the films.

You would think that Britney Spears would learn from her mistakes! That after last years MTV disaster, the young mum would avoid the awards ceremony like the plague.

However, word is that Britney intends to make yet another comeback on this years MTV Awards and even appeared in the promo video with new host, Russell Brand.
