Alexandra Burke

Alexandra Burke is a contestant in the 2008 series of The X Factor (UK TV Series). Born on 25th August 1988, Alexandra is in Cheryl Cole's  under 25's category. She appeared on X Factor several years previously, but was excluded when her mentor Louis Walsh said she was too young to compete.

Alexandra is widely tipped to make it to the final of the competition, and her week 5 performance was praised by Mariah Carey, who described it as "absolutely amazing". Alexandra is the daughter of former Soul II Soul singer Melissa Bell.
