Anthony Head

Anthony Stewart Head is a British actor known for a number of roles, including Rupert Giles in Buffy The Vampire Slayer and a series of Nescafe adverts which aired in Britain during the 1980s. He has also had a recurring role in Little Britain as the Prime Minister, and is recently appearing in BBC One's Merlin as King Uther.

Personal Life

Anthony Head was born on 20 February 1954 in Camden Town, London. His father, Seafield Head was a documentary maker, and his mother was the actress Helen Shingler. He lives near Bath in Somerset with his partner and two daughters.
