Charlie Bruce
Charlie Bruce was a contestant and the eventual winner of the first UK series of [[So You Think You Can Dance (TV Series)|So You Think You Can Dance]]. She was in the final four of the competition (which was reduced to 3 after finalist Robbie White dislocated his shoulder. Charlie is a jazz dancer who loves dance so much she went in to full-time training from the age of 10.
Charlie began dancing aged three and started lessons properly aged seven. By the time she was 10, her talent was recognised and she took up a scholarship to Arts Educational School where she trained before moving on to Laine Theatre Arts. She has starred in panto but has yet to score a West End musical. Charlie says her dream role would be Roxie in Chicago.
Most recently Charlie auditioned for BBC's [[So You Think You Can Dance (TV Series)|So You Think You Can Dance]] and made it through to their final 14 dancers. She became the winner of the first series on Saturday 13th February 2010. Head judge Nigel Lythgoe said during the final, "If people say I’m being biased toward you tonight, I don’t give a damn. Because, you are without question the best dancer in this final tonight."
