Diana Vickers

Diana Vickers is a finalist in the 2008 series of The X Factor. Diana is 17 years old (birth date: 30 July 1991) and lives in Accrington. She was voted off the X Factor in the semi-final round on 6 December 2008.

She has been successful in auditioning to the Boot Camp stage of the competition where she is being mentored by Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole.At the Boot Camp she sang the Prince song, Nothing Compares 2 U.

Diana has been compared to Kate Bush in terms of her performing style and has gone onstage several times barefoot.

She was diagnosed with laryngitis during the fifth week of live shows and was allowed to be absent from the show in order to recover.

Diana was voted off the show on 6 December 2008 in the semi-final round.
