 Stacy Ann Ferguson (born 27th March 1975) and better known by her stage name of Fergie is an American singer, rapper, lyricist, actress, model and philantropist from California. In the 1980s, she was a child star on the TV show Kids Incorporated. From the years 1995 to 2001 she was a member of the girl group Wild Orchid before joining as the vocalist for pop/hip hop group the Black Eyed Peas in 2003. While the Black Eyed Peas were on hiatus, Fergie launched a successful solo singing career in 2006 by releasing her debut solo album The Dutchess.
