X Factor contestant Lloyd Daniels

Lloyd Daniels is a finalist on the 2009 series of the UK reality TV show, The X Factor. A contestant in the under 25 males category of the show, Lloyd is 16 years old and lives near Cardiff with his parents.

Daniels began singing at the age of 5 in a karaoke competition in a caravan holiday in Newquay. In addition to his passion for singing, Lloyd is also a keen athlete.

As part of the under 25 year olds category of the show, he is being mentored by Cheryl Cole.

Elimination

Lloyd was eliminated in the later stages of the X Factor competition, on the 29th November 2009. He had performed an Elton John song and a Take That song on the previous evening's live show. As the contestant with the least votes, he was eliminated.

Unlike previous weeks, there was no voting round by the judges, the elimination was decided solely on the public vote.
