Louis Walsh

Louis Walsh is a well known Irish music manager and television personality. He is best known for his work with Boyzone and Westlife and for his long-standing role as a judge on ITV's The X Factor.

Biography

Louis Walsh was born Michael Louis Vincent on 5 August 1954 in County Mayo, Ireland.

Louis Walsh started in the music business in a showband promoter's office in Dublin. He went on to become instrumental in finding and managing a number of commercially successful pop bands including Boyzone, Westlife, and Girls Aloud.
