McG

McG is an American movie and television producer and director. His real name is Joseph McGinty Nichol and he was born on 9 August 1968 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was known in the 90's for directing music videos, but moved into film with the Charlie's Angels movie in 2000.

In his early career, McG was a photographer taking photos of local bands. As a result, he helped to produce the debut album by Sugar Ray and moved from there to directing music videos.

In recent years, McG has been heavily involved in television and movie production. He directed the pilot episode of Chuck and was credited as a producer of the show. He's alsocurrently working on the fourth Terminator movie, Terminator Salvation
