Michael C. Hall
Michael C. Hall is an award-winning American actor, best known for his roles in Six Feet Under and as the title character in Dexter. As well as these popular roles, Hall is also an accomplished stage actor, having held parts in stage productions of Cabaret and Chicago.

Hall was born and grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was an only child, although a sister died in infancy before he was born.Hall's father died when he was 11.
His first forays into acting were in the theatre, eventually culminating in his first Broadway role in a production of Cabaret. This led to him being recommended for the part of David Fisher in the HBO series Six Feet Under. He earned a number of Best Actor nominations for his role in the show.
In 2006, Hall took on the role of the forensic analyst/serial killer Dexter Morgan in the Showtime series Dexter. The series is now in its third season and another two seasons of the show have been confirmed.
Personal Life
Hall was married to the actress Amy Spranger for roughly 4 years from 2002, but the couple separated and filed for divorce in 2006.
There have been a number of rumours that Hall dated his Dexter co-star Jennifer Carpenter, who plays his sister Deborah on the show. The couple married after eloping on New Year's Eve 2008.
