Paul Wesley
Paul Wesley, also known as Paul Wasilewski, is an American actor of Polish descent. He is best known for playing the character of Stefan Salvatore, one of the lead characters in the CW drama series The Vampire Diaries.

1982 - Born Paul Thomas Wasilewski on 23 July 1982 to parents Agnieszka and Thomas Wasilewski.
1999 - Makes his television debut in Another World before becoming a regular character in Guiding Light.
2000 - Graduated from Lakewood Prep School in Howell, New Jersey. Spent one semester at Rutgers University before quitting to concentrate full-time on acting.
2005 - Changes his name to Paul Wesley in acting credits, explaining that Wasilewski was too hard to pronounce. He gained the blessing of his parents to change his family name.
2008 - First leading role in a movie, as Jake Tanner in Killer Movie, a comedy horror film.
2009 - The Vampire Diaries premieres in September, featuring Wesley as Stefan Salvatore, a teenage (looking) vampire who returns to his home town after a long absence.
