Primeval (TV Series)

Primeval is a British science fiction series about a team of scientists who study the appearance of time portals - known as anomalies - which are allowing dinosaurs to pass through into present-day London.

In May 2009 it was confirmed that Warner Brothers have bought the rights to make a Primeval movie, which will move the action from the UK (where the series is currently based) to the United States.

Cast & Characters

• Professor Nick Cutter (played by Douglas Henshall) - Cutter was the head of the ARC team and a Professor of Paleontology
• Connor Temple (Andrew-Lee Potts) — Cutter's one-time student, becoming the research, equipment and logistics specialist.
• Abby Maitland (Hannah Spearritt) — herpetologist and assistant zookeeper.
• Claudia Brown/Jennifer Lewis (Lucy Brown) — In the first series, Claudia Brown was a Home Office official and the team's government liaison, but disappeared at the end of Episode 6 due to a timeline change. Jenny Lewis, an identical woman, was introduced at the end of Episode 7 [8], serving as the new Public Relations officer for the A.R.C.
• James Lester (Ben Miller) — a senior Home Office official and administrator of the team.
• Helen Cutter (Juliet Aubrey) - Nick Cutter's ex-wife disappeared for eight years and has caused massive amounts of trouble since returning, including shooting and killing Cutter in Series 3.
• Captain Becker (Ben Mansfield) - a Special Forces soldier assigned to protect the team.
• Sarah Page (Laila Rouass) - An Egyptologist who was recruited by Cutter to investigate the link between anomalies and the appearance of strange creatures throughout history, such as the Yeti or the Loch Ness Monster.
• Danny Quinn (Jason Flemyng) - Quinn is another character introduced in the third series who meets the team when they investigate an anomaly in the house where his brother disappeared.
• Christine Johnson (Belinda Stewart-Wilson) - Lester's new boss. She seems to have her own agenda after a flashback revealed she sent her own team through an anomaly.
