Lambert was born on 29 January 1982. He is from San Diego, California and has a younger brother, Neil.

Danny Gokey is a 28-year-old singer and church music director from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and a final 12 contestant in the 2009 series of American Idol. He originally auditioned with a version of I Heard It Through The Grapevine by Marvin Gaye.

Gokey is a widower, and started the foundation Sophia's Heart in honour of his wife.

Danny was voted into the Final 12 contestants of American Idol after his performance of Mariah Carey's Hero.

Alexis Grace is a 21-year old single mother from Memphis, Tennessee and a final 12 contestant in the 2009 series of American Idol. Her original audition was in Louisville, Kentucky where she sang Dr. Feelgood by Aretha Franklin.

Grace has a young daughter, Ryan Elizabeth, and is currently engaged to the child's father.

She was voted into the final 12 after singing Aretha Franklin's I Never Loved A Man (The Way I Love You) on 18 February 2009.

Jeremy Michael Sarver is a 27-year old oil rigger from Jasper, Texas and a final 12 contestant in the 2009 series of American Idol. Sarver's audition was in Phoenix, Arizona, and he was confirmed for the show's final 12 on 18 February 2009. He was eliminated from the competition in the Motown week on 26 March 2009.

At his original audition, Sarver sang Thank You by Boyz II Men to the judges. Judge Randy Jackson commented "when I close my eyes, you sound good, you don't sound like anything like what you look like. The combination of that I actually kind of like"
