Saffia Corden is a housemate in the tenth series of Big Brother UK. Saffia is a 27 year old beauty consultant from Nottingham and a mother of two children.

She wants to be known as an independent mum rather than a single parent. She is adamant that no man would ever come between her and her children and will miss them ‘immensely’ but BB will be ‘her time’. Single Saffia said she considered turning lesbian because she is sick of men.

Saffia admits she always gets what she wants and says she’s usually perceived as a show-off, a bitch and a fantastic mum – she admits all are true. She snogged a DJ at a high-school disco and got suspended. Saffia loves the glamorous side of her job and says she’s a make-up and skincare snob.

Sree Dasari is a housemate on the tenth series of the UK version of Big Brother. Sree is from India, but currently studying for a masters in Business in the UK. He is 25 years old.

The following excerpts are from Sree's official Big Brother biography, including comments made when he was entering the house:

Sree intends to stay a virgin until he meets the right girl; he is looking for someone that is patient, committed and honest. His ideal woman is Beyonce.

Sree speaks to his parents every day. He calls them ‘living gods’ because they have given him life; he says he is close to all of his family.

His main ambition is to be an actor or prime minister but he would also like to be a celebrity so that he can work for charities and raise awareness of disease.

Big Brother 2009 is the tenth series of the popular UK reality TV show. The show will be hosted by Davina McCall and narrated as always by Marcus Bentley. The series begins on 4 June 2009 and runs for thirteen weeks with a potential prize of £100,000 for the winner.

There will be 16 housemates living in the house, although more may be added throughout the series.

Notable Events

On the launch night (4 June 2009), Big Brother called a housemate to come to the Diary Room. Rodrigo volunteered and was told that none of the contestants were housemates. He was told that his place and that of a volunteer would be guaranteed if the volunteer agreed to have his/her eyebrows shaved off and glasses and moustach drawn on with a permanent marker. Noirin volunteered and the two were confirmed as housemates. The remaining non-housemates were given special costumes to distinguish their undetermined role.

The sixth series of Celebrity Big Brother launches on 2 January 2009. The series reprises after a year off which was prompted by a race row between Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty in the 2007 series.
